Our Story: From Beloved Nickname to Artisan Deli:
At Piggy Pete's Deli, every slice of cured meat and every smoked fillet is made with passion, quality, and a deep sense of family. This business is a dream built by Pete and Becky, founded on a shared love for incredible food and a commitment to honouring a very special person.
The name "Piggy Pete" was an affectionate nickname coined by Martin, Becky's brother and Pete's great friend, after a family dinner where I (Pete) was caught taking second helpings! Though Martin is no longer with us, his hearty laugh and love for great food were the spark for this whole adventure.
Piggy Pete's Deli is our way of honouring that memory, and ensuring that every product we create lives up to the fun, generous, and flavour-filled spirit he embodied. This is more than a business; it's a testament to the joy of sharing the extraordinary.

Equilibrium Curing (EQ): Our precise, weight-based cure ensures perfect seasoning every time, guaranteeing a balanced and flawless flavour profile.
Cold Smoking: We infuse our food with a profound, smoky character using a low-temperature process, with each wood typeâfrom bold oak to sweet appleâimparting a unique essence.
Hot Smoking: We slow-cook our products over a long period at a low temperature, resulting in incredibly tender, moist, and intensely flavourful creations.

Dehydration: We concentrate flavour by gently removing moisture, creating shelf-stable products with an explosive taste in every bite.
