Q: What payment methods do you accept?

Q: Can I place an order for a future date?

Q: How is my order packaged to ensure freshness?
A: As a specialist deli, quality and safety are our top priority. All perishable products are packaged in well-insulated boxes with reusable ice packs to maintain a chilled temperature throughout transit. Our packaging is designed to keep your products cold for up to 48 hours.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: At this time, we only ship within the UK. We are always evaluating our options and hope to be able to offer international shipping in the future.
Q: Can I pick up my order directly from your facility to save on delivery fees?
A: Unfortunately, we are not always available at our premises to accommodate customer pickups. All orders are fulfilled via our delivery service to ensure consistency and a smooth process for everyone.

Q: How long will my products last once they arrive?
A: Due to the nature of our artisanal process, specific shelf lives vary.
Smoked & Cured Products (Unopened/Vacuum-Sealed): Typically, these will have a shelf life of 3 to 4 weeks when stored correctly in the refrigerator. Biltong and other dried meats will have extended shelf life due to the nature of the product.
Once Opened: We recommend consuming the products within 3 to 5 days for the best flavour and texture.
Please always refer to the 'Use By' date and specific storage instructions provided on the individual product labels.
Q: Can I freeze my Piggy Pete’s Deli products?
A: No. We strongly advise against freezing our products. Freezing can damage the delicate cellular structure of our meats and fish, which compromises the texture and flavour profile that our curing and smoking techniques are designed to deliver. Please enjoy them fresh by the 'Use By' date.
Q: Where can I find allergen information?
A: We take allergies extremely seriously.
Full Ingredients: A comprehensive list of ingredients and all 14 major UK allergens are clearly listed on the label of every product we sell.
Online: Allergen information is also available on the individual product page descriptions on our website.
Cross-Contamination: Please be aware that all our products are prepared and packaged in a facility that handles all major allergens, including nuts, gluten, fish, and dairy. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us directly before ordering.
Q: Are the meats you use Halal?
A: The majority of our cured and smoked products are not certified Halal. However, we can confirm that the meat used in our biltong is Halal certified. If you require further information on other Halal options, please email your request to support@piggypetesdeli.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you.

Q: Is there a minimum order value?
A: We do not enforce a minimum order value. We are happy to ship an indulgent one-off treat or a full selection for a party.

A: We’ve found that offering the lowest possible price upfront is the best way to serve our customers and maintain the highest quality. This approach allows us to focus on making each product fresh without the need to bulk-produce and store items for long periods.
